Ali is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in psychiatry and addiction medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology with a Biology minor from Pitzer College graduating with honors in 2017. She then received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2020 and her Master of Public Health in 2022 both from MCPHS University. She also has a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry. She has worked in outpatient psychiatry and addiction medicine assisting patients with their medication management since 2020 and has worked as a crisis counselor volunteer through the Crisis Text Line. Ali is incredibly passionate about ending the stigma, being an advocate, and raising awareness for mental health and addiction. She uses compassionate care and active, empathetic communication to address patients’ mental health needs.
She implements a holistic, client centered approach and utilizes evidence-based medicine to improve the overall well-being of her patients. Her clinical interests include substance use, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, perinatal and postpartum health, sexual assault survivors, and LGBTQ mental health.
Outside of work, she teaches spin classes and is a certified personal trainer, enjoys playing with her cat Appa and dog Maple, satisfying her sweet tooth, creating paint pours, going to concerts, hiking, and camping.
