Andres Reinhard

LMFT

Although beginning therapy can be a daunting undertaking, it is my hope that, through attunement, active listening, and genuineness, I can provide a safe space for you to address your difficulties. My approach is collaborative, and while symptom relief is vital, so is the expression of emotion, investigating attempts to avoid distressing feelings and thoughts, identifying reoccurring themes and patterns in daily life, as well as exploring interpersonal dynamics. It is my hope to help you uncover defenses and anxieties, increase self-awareness, restore worthiness and hopefulness, and lead a more fulfilling life.

I am a marriage and family therapist by training. I have worked extensively with teens and adults in outpatient settings providing group, individual, and family therapy. In addition to systemic perspectives, I draw on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Polyvagal Theory to help my clients better manage their mental health. I have a particular interest in how therapy can help alleviate traumatic stress and am planning on completing training's in EMDR and Somatic Experiencing.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors and spend my time hiking, skiing, running, and rollerblading.
