Doctoral Psychologist Candidate
Brenn Kane, MA, is a doctoral trainee at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Professional Psychology, where she specializes in health psychology. She has bachelor degrees from Smith College and the University of Colorado Denver in Women and Gender Studies and Psychology, respectively, and a master's degree from the University of Denver, where she concentrated in health communication. Brenn's background includes working in educational and integrated health settings, addressing an array of behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems, addiction, learning disabilities, anger management, and minority stress (especially within the LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities). As an integrative therapist, Brenn utilizes components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and enjoys incorporating mindfulness, meditation, somatic awareness, and breathing exercises into her practice. Brenn has a passion for empowering her clients to make healthy lifestyle choices that lead to greater wellness and heightened life satisfaction.
