Psychological Testing and Assessment: What We Offer
Psychological Testing and Assessment is performed by our Licensed Clinical Psychologists (PsyD) in Denver, CO and can be recommended by a referring physician.
Psychological Testing requires a 90 minute background gathering clinical interview about client’s history, behavioral health symptoms such as depression or anxiety, family dynamics, social upbringing, traumatic experiences if any and more.
Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-4th Edition- (WAIS-IV) is the most advanced adult measure of cognitive ability, based on recent research in the area of cognitive neuroscience and the theories and work of David Wechsler PhD. This test allows for a comprehensive evaluation of a client’s cognitive functioning and will provide an IQ score. Approximate timeframe: 90 minutes
Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2nd Edition (MMPI-2) is the most widely used and researched clinical assessment tool used by mental health professionals to help diagnose mental health disorders. Approximate time frame for complete: 60-90 minutes.
Million Clinical Multiaxial Inventory- 4th Edition (MCMI®-IV) provide an in-depth analysis of personality and symptom dynamics, and include action-oriented suggestions for therapeutic management. Approximate timeframe: 60 minutes.
Rorschach Inkblot Test- provides an in-depth analysis of personality functioning, worldview dynamics, can reveal unconscious processes and lead to greater understanding of client’s previous and current functioning. Approximate timeframe: 60-90 minutes.

Once the Licensed Clinical Psychologists completes the testing and interview appointments, they review all of the information and write and present a comprehensive client report that shows their findings. Diagnoses are generated within a few focus areas included:
